Get Involved
Our Committee Chairs are continually seeking the ideas and energy of members who are interested in making a contribution to our organization. Participating on a committee is a rewarding way to share your skills and knowledge in support of HLNDV, and build upon the generous time and effort given by our past leaders and committee volunteers. At the same time, the diverse range of activities and programs we deliver throughout the year provides unique exposure to new experiences, learning opportunities, as well as our broader membership.
If you are interested in joining a Committee, please contact a Board member.

Academic Relations

The Committee coordinates regular visits by HLNDV members to meet with groups of students on campus, promotes the benefits of ACHE membership to students and faculty, and joins with academic programs to offer student conferences or jointly sponsored campus events. In collaboration with the Career Development Committee, the Academic Relations Committee administers the I. Donald Snook Education Fund grants, which support internship opportunities for students in our area.
Corporate Sponsorship
The Corporate Sponsorship Committee develops and maintains relationships with organizations to obtain their financial support and to enhance the visibility of their brand within HLNDV. The Committee manages correspondence with new and existing sponsors and identifies opportunities to encourage sponsor participation at educational programs and events. The Corporate Sponsorship Committee provides oversight and annual review of sponsorship level benefit descriptions (i.e. Gold, Silver, Bronze) and ensures the execution of benefits for each of our valued sponsors. Ongoing coordination includes website logo placement, facilitating newsletter feature articles, issuing complimentary event passes, and supporting marketing opportunities at events.
