HLNDV Volunteers participated in our annual Martin Luther King Day of service.

This year the group helped prepare meals at the Gift of Life Family House. The Gift of Life Family House provides a place for patients and families facing Organ Transplantation. They provide lodging, transportation, meals, education, and emotional support to families in their difficult times. It is a wonderful organization and HLNDV was honored to be able to volunteer. Seventeen of our members participated. We got a tour of the Family House, met Howard Nathan their CEO, and worked to prepare a sumptuous meal of Chicken Soup and Tater Tot Casserole. A great time was had by all. For more information about the Gift of Life program, please visit http://www.giftoflifefamilyhouse.org
